Stopped in for a quick lunch and was glad I did. Itβs in the first floor lobby of an office building and seems to be a popular spot for lunch breaks. I had a delicious bowl of their homemade chicken matzo ball soup. It was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Our office stumbled across Risa's while searching another restaurant in the area. The next day we ordered lunch. All of us loved our soup, sandwiches, and wraps! I mentioned to Risa that this was our first time ordering from her and she called later in the afternoon to ask how we all enjoyed our meals. I told her we for sure will be ordering from her again!

The matzo ball soup is like a big warm hug and can probably cure most diseases. About as authentic as you can get in Buffalo.

Risas is a great little Jewish soup & sandwich soup located in the back side of 285 Delaware. It's easy to miss as there are no signs from the front, but it's been there forever. They have a great selection of soup and sandwiches, with matzo ball soup and sweet & south cabbage soup being standouts. Their pastrami sandwich is also thinly sliced & fresh.
